Cardea SOLO operates on a buy and bill model, which means you pay for the product initially and then seek reimbursement. While there is an upfront cost, the reimbursement typically more than offsets this, resulting in a significant profit margin for most customers. This profit margin is generally higher compared to other monitoring options such as service models or traditional Holter monitors.

Patients can continue their daily routine unless otherwise instructed by their healthcare provider. While being very simple to wear, Cardea SOLO requires your care and attention for a comfortable wear experience and the most useful information for their physician.
Cardea SOLO is water resistant, but does not support full submersion bathing or swimming. Avoid any activity that would cause excessive sweating.
If your Cardea SOLO monitor is found to be defective, we will replace it through our no-hassle RMA process. Please contact us to report the issue and initiate the replacement process.

Cardea SOLO does not require pre-authorization for Medicare and most major commercial insurance payers, including BCBS, United Healthcare, Humana, Aetna, and Cigna, according to their written medical policies. Pre-certification is required by Medicaid for all products, and a few exceptions such as BCBS Federal, Molina, and CareFirst may still require pre-authorization. Overall, not having to pre-authorize or pre-certify Cardea SOLO saves office staff time, money, and reduces frustration, allowing for a smoother workflow and quicker patient care.
